We renovate the hotel’s existing coaxial cable network to deploy a brand-new IPTV system without rewiring.The upgraded IPTV platform integrates rich customized functions: live TV broadcast, on-demand video, hotel profile display, personalized welcome message on TV startup, as well as local scenic spot introduction. It greatly optimizes guest experience and elevates the hotel’s premium service brand.
The system supports multi-source signal access, including free satellite TV signals and free terrestrial DTMB signals. Meanwhile, it can receive programs from paid HD set-top boxes, integrating free public channels and premium HD video sources into one unified transmission system.
Satellite signals and terrestrial signals are transmitted to the hotel's weak current equipment room via coaxial cables.
The equipment room is equipped with 2 sets of WSJE HD encoders, 1 set of WSJE Tuner-to-IP demodulator and 1 WSJE IPTV gateway server, which completes the construction of the entire front-end system.
After the front-end equipment room is fully set up, signals are distributed to each guest room via Gigabit switches installed on every rooms，After that, all guest rooms are ready to receive and play TV programs.
